The client is the Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California. The organization has the motto to spread childhood cancer awareness. Additionally, the client wanted to explore cancer treatment and help children under 18 years who are suffering from cancer. Thus, the client aspired to a website that will brief about their work and services. Furthermore, the new website would allow the family in need to connect to them with those business personalities who desire to donate something for the charity. The client from California wanted to build a website that offers all the awareness of cancer children. We started with the research and discovery of the website’s audience, their behaviors, and needs. The focus was to build a website that provides emotional, social, educational, and emergency support, to the families who have or have had a child with cancer. For a non-profit website, we incorporated the facility of Donation, Volunteering, and spreading awareness by sharing about CCFSoCal.
Our Solution
Keyideas team developed a website in WordPress using the world-famous WooCommerce plugin and PHP language. The California client wanted to spread childhood cancer awareness, hence, a website to give all the details about their company. We build a website that showed its work to cure the children and donation details to help them. Thus, our designers designed a user-friendly cancer care website that can be easily accessible by the person or family person in need. With the MySQL database, we created the website as it is widely used with PHP.
This open-source relational database management system helps to maintain the web database to store everything from a single record of data to a complete inventory of available products for an e-store. Moreover, we also used jQuery and Bootstrap while designing the website to provide easy and simplified use of JavaScript. Also, an easy-to-navigate and mobile-friendly UI/UX design on the website.
