Our team of ASP.net Developers designed and developed a Patient Medical and Healthcare Portal using ASP.Net, Telerik and SQL 2008 for an Minnesota USA based client that allows patients and other users to access patient medication information imported from already existing system. The system was designed with user accounts that grant privileges and access to specified patient medical information and functional modules.

Features that we implemented -

- Provided an administration application that creates and manages user accounts and passwords.

- Security management: Strong passwords, password auto reset option, reset password question, has passwords with unique salt values, SSL 256 bit encryption, encrypt config.sys file, auto logoff and log all accesses in accordance to HIPAA with IP address to database.

- Allow patients to be assigned to user accounts so that parents or physicians can securely access patient information for multiple patients through the same user account.

- Automatically extract patient medical summary information from existing system and store it in the patient portal.

- Allow user to view, print, and download an electronic patient record copy and save it encrypted.

- Allow notes and attachments to be automatically imported and available for viewing as a PDF or other file types.

- Allow messages to be sent and received between users through the portal. Used email for notification of messages.

- Allow download of CCD – Continuity of Care Document documents
